2007 Jarden Westchester Triathlon to offer $10,000 prize purse for pro athletes.
$10,000 in prize money is up for grabs for the top male and female pro athletes competing in the 2007 Jarden Westchester Triathlon. In order to be eligible to compete for this prize purse, you must hold a current, valid professional triathlete license through USA Triathlon. Foreign professionals are eligible but need to be registered through USA Triathlon.

2007 Jarden Westchester Triathlon to be Regional Championship Event
As a Regional Championship Event, the top 33 percent or top five finishers (whichever is greater) in each age group will qualify for the National Age Group Championship. 2007 Regional Championship events will also be used as qualifiers for the 2008 World Championships in Vancouver, Canada (June 7-8). Westchester Triathlon Announces Inaugural Title Sponsor
The Westchester Triathlon Committee has announced that Rye-based Jarden Corporation (NYSE:JAH) will be the title sponsor of its Olympic distance multi-sport race, marking the race's first corporate title sponsorship in its 22-year history. Rye-based Jarden Corporation, a leading provider of niche consumer products used in and around the home, has committed to sponsoring the race for the next three years.
